Our modular floating docks are designed to shift with heavy swells. Under typhoon stress, the individual modules flex rather than fight the wave force, dispersing kinetic energy. Success in high wind events relies on proper anchoring systems (such as self-adjusting piles, heavy-grade chain counterweights, and elastic tether lines) to allow the dock to ride out storm surges.
Can I get the Floating Dock system if there is no dealer in my area?
Yes. If you do not have a regional dealer nearby, we can organize factory-direct shipping to your closest cargo terminal. We handle export documentation and coordinate with ocean carriers, allowing you to arrange local transport from the terminal to your site.
Can I leave my dock in the water during freezing winter conditions?
Absolutely. The system is engineered to remain in place through freezing weather. The sloped shape of the modular cubes allows them to ride upward as ice sheet expansion creates lateral pressure. This prevents the compression damage that typically affects traditional wood or concrete docks.
How does ice flow and movement affect the floating system?
For static, uniform ice sheets, the dock can remain in the water year-round. Will the system work in shallow water environments?
Yes. Unloaded, the modular cubes draw only 5 to 10 cm of water. With watercraft docked, the draft increases slightly depending on overall weight. If the water level drops completely, the dock can rest flat on mud or sand. It is critical to ensure that the water depth at the launch end remains deep enough to allow craft to back off safely.
