Direct engineering solutions from our high-density blow molding production plant. Precision manufacturing compliant with global safety standards.
An engineering whitepaper on the structural evolution of marine-grade High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) platforms.
In modern marine engineering, offshore logistics, and civil construction, the requirement for adaptable, heavy-duty over-water access has grown exponentially. As global industrial initiatives move toward harsher environments, traditional steel, timber, and concrete floating systems struggle to meet the strict parameters of versatility, environmental preservation, and cost efficiency. OEM Modular Floating Work Platforms have emerged as the leading standard for maritime operations, offering customizable dimensions, exceptional chemical resistance, and rapid deployment.
Industrial purchasing agents, port authorities, and maritime construction firms evaluate floating infrastructure projects based on long-term performance under high hydrodynamic stress. Key operational criteria driving global procurement include:
A deep look at Taizhou's leading developer of precision blow-molded industrial solutions.
Equipped with state-of-the-art automated blow molding production lines, Shenghuang efficiently produces a wide range of plastic products, including containers, bottles, pontoons, automotive parts, and customized structural solutions.
We adhere strictly to the ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring that every stage of production—from raw material procurement to final structural stress testing—meets high international standards.
We actively promote green manufacturing by using recyclable and eco-friendly materials. Our R&D team continuously works to minimize waste and reduce energy consumption while remaining compliant with global ecological rules.
Founded in 2019, Shenghuang Industrial & Trade Blow Molding Factory is situated in Huangyan, Taizhou, Zhejiang—an area globally recognized for its robust manufacturing infrastructure. The company has quickly grown into a trusted supplier of high-quality blow-molded products across multiple sectors, including industrial packaging, automotive parts, household appliances, and specialized marine floating applications.
In addition to our focus on environmental sustainability, Shenghuang places a strong emphasis on technological innovation. The company maintains a dedicated R&D division focused on developing new high-performance materials and advanced molding techniques to meet the evolving requirements of our global customers. This capacity allows us to offer customized OEM designs for heavy-duty industrial configurations.
Our processing facility undergoes consistent testing by third-party certification bodies to guarantee product durability, chemical resistance, and load capacity safety parameters.
Bridging the technology of high-impact marine modules and rugged, sandbag training bases.
A core competitive advantage of Shenghuang Industrial is our deep expertise in blow molding technology. This expertise is reflected in our dual product focus: marine-grade floating docks and heavy-duty, base-filled training gear (QJ-series boxing sandbags). The underlying manufacturing principles remain identical: producing highly durable, impact-resistant, hollow plastic shells that can withstand high stress, weather exposure, and mechanical load.
Our training equipment bases use the same high-impact polymer matrices as our floating modular cubes. This ensures they resist cracking and leakage when filled with water or sand. Whether deploying a floating work platform to support industrial workers in saltwater or shipping a high-stability training sandbag base to global fitness suppliers, Shenghuang utilizes the same rigorous structural engineering standards.
Engineered for performance in maritime construction, municipal work, solar power plants, and fitness infrastructure.
Detailed physical properties and technical parameters of our advanced HDPE formulation.
The performance of modular floating docks relies on the molecular structure of the polymer used. Shenghuang utilizes custom-compounded High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), enhanced with UV blockers, antioxidants, and anti-static additives. The table below represents the core parameters of our standardized marine pontoon production:
| Technical Parameter | Standard / Metric Value | Testing Reference | Engineering Advantage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buoyancy Capacity | ≥ 350 kg / m² (Double Layer) | ISO 12217-1 | Allows operations with heavy machinery over water. |
| Material Composition | HMWHDPE + UV Stabilizers | ASTM D1248 | Prevents brittleness under long-term solar exposure. |
| Diagonal Tensile Strength | ≥ 25 KN | ASTM D638 | Resists twisting and shearing forces in rough seas. |
| Temperature Range | -60°C to +80°C | GB/T 1040 | Maintains flexibility and prevents ice-adhesion cracks in winter. |
Through our blow molding process, we maintain consistent wall thicknesses across the corners of our modules. This design helps minimize stress concentration zones, which are common points of failure in standard injection-molded pontoons. The resulting product exhibits excellent puncture resistance, maintaining buoyancy even under impact.

Technical and logistics questions answered by our industrial design team.
Our floating dock's modular design and manufacturing quality hold up well in typhoons depending on the installation. The segmented design distributes kinetic wave energy across the platform, reducing stress on anchor points. Our customers report excellent results for docks hit directly by severe storms.
Yes. In areas where there is no local dealer, we ship directly from our factory in China to your nearest seaport or logistics terminal. We provide complete setup manuals, accessory components, and remote video guidance to ensure a smooth assembly.
Absolutely. The dock is designed to remain in the water year-round, including in saltwater environments. The shape and slope of the modular cubes allow them to rise on top of the ice sheet when it freezes, preventing crush damage.
The primary factor is water flow and ice movement. If the ice thaws in place without significant movement, the dock can remain in the water safely. However, if your location experiences moving ice blocks or fast currents during the spring thaw, those forces can damage stationary structures. In such scenarios, we recommend seasonal disassembly, which is straightforward due to the modular pin design.
While configurations vary, we recommend a minimum width of three cubes for stable walking platforms or gangways. With individual cube buoyancy balanced at approximately 200 lbs (approx. 90 kg) per block, a three-cube-wide walkway provides solid footing and support for multiple personnel simultaneously.
Yes. The cubes draw only 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of water when unloaded. The system can rest safely on the seabed or pond floor during low tides. It is important to ensure there is sufficient depth at the drive-on end to allow boats or PWCs to back off the platform.
Our factory began producing floating docks in 2019, making us one of the early specialized developers in China. We have expanded our production lines to offer a range of industrial blow-molded items, marine pontoons, and fitness equipment bases.
