Modern marine and near-shore infrastructure projects are experiencing a transformative transition. Traditional fixed concrete piers and wooden docks are increasingly replaced by modular High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) floating dock systems. This global industrial shift is driven by rising seal levels, variable aquatic tides, environmental conservation laws, and the engineering necessity for flexible, resilient, and non-corrosive platforms.
Across European marinas, Southeast Asian aquaculture farms, and North American commercial ports, modular plastic pontoons serve as critical infrastructure. These components provide crucial buoyancy, adaptive load distribution, and rapid deployment. Unlike timber, which rots and requires chemical treatments that leach toxic residues, or steel, which oxidizes rapidly in saline environments, marine-grade HDPE modular floats provide an maintenance-free operational life cycle exceeding 15 years.

Global Quality Standard
Recyclable Eco-Material
Our modular floating cubes are constructed from high-molecular-weight High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This advanced polymer has a high tensile yield strength and outstanding chemical resistance. To prevent degradation under intense sunlight, the polymer matrix is blended with specialized ultraviolet stabilizers (UV blocking agents) and thermal stabilizers. This chemical configuration prevents environmental stress cracking (ESCR), color fade, and brittleness.
Our standard single modular float elements sustain approximately 200 kg/m² of active buoyancy. The optimized Twin Dock systems scale up to 300 kg/m² buoyancy. This allows safely supporting heavy work equipment, public gangways, or recreational vehicles.
The modular components undergo intense ASTM D1693 testing. This testing proves they maintain material integrity during temperature shifts between -60°C and +80°C. They are unaffected by saltwater exposure, organic pollutants, acids, and fuels.
Safety is built into the design. The upper deck surfaces feature molded anti-skid grid patterns. These patterns maximize foot traction in wet conditions, preventing slipping accidents during commercial usage.
Founded in 2019, Shenghuang Industrial & Trade Blow Molding Factory is a leading manufacturer in the plastic blow molding industry. Our global headquarters is located in Huangyan, Taizhou, Zhejiang province. This region is known as the "Molding Capital of China," which provides a robust infrastructure for mold fabrication, high-speed automated machinery, and raw polymer supply chains.
Our automated blow molding lines utilize advanced parison programming. This technology regulates the wall thickness of modular cubes at critical stress points, such as mounting ears and connection loops. We adhere strictly to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Our quality assurance inspectors monitor the production process from raw polymer checking to drop tests, pressure leak verification, and high-impact load evaluations.
Beyond high-durability marine floats, our factory leverages its production machinery to engineer a range of blow-molded items. These include large liquid storage structures, automotive components, and heavy-duty physical training gear like the ODM Boxing Sandbag series (QJ004, QJ0011, QJ0010). These training products feature robust base weights and shock-absorbing shells, demonstrating our expertise in complex blow molding manufacturing.
Our modular configurations are engineered to perform across various demanding environments:
Heavy marine construction projects require stable work decks to support crew, tools, and materials. Our orange HDPE platforms offer high visibility and 200kg/m² buoyancy. They are ideal for ship repairs, pipe laying, and maintenance operations.
Fish and shellfish farms in Chile, Canada, and Vietnam use our modular systems to build robust access pathways. These floats are inert, non-toxic, and resistant to marine growth, protecting sensitive aquaculture environments.
Water reservoirs and industrial retention basins are increasingly used for floating solar panels. Our HDPE modular cubes provide the structural platform for PV solar mounting systems, optimizing space and reducing water evaporation.
Sourcing modular floats from our Huangyan facility offers significant cost and supply chain advantages. Our factory is located near major container shipping ports (Ningbo-Zhoushan and Shanghai). This proximity ensures fast dispatch and lower domestic logistics costs. We maintain long-term relationships with polymer producers, which stabilizes our material costs and protects against global market volatility.
Our automated blow molding machinery operates continuously, allowing us to manufacture large-volume orders quickly. This scaling capacity enables us to fulfill bulk orders for major marine development or municipal infrastructure projects faster than regional competitors. Our optimized logistics network ensures reliable container delivery to shipping ports in North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
As eco-design regulations tighten worldwide, Shenghuang is committing resources to sustainable materials research. Our R&D team is developing next-generation bio-based high-density polymers and closed-loop recycled HDPE compounds. These materials match the structural strength of virgin plastics while lowering the overall carbon footprint.
Our technology roadmap features two key research areas:
Integrating IoT sensors into critical structural joints of modular docks. These sensors track stress levels, wave impacts, water temperature, and buoyancy changes. They transmit real-time telemetry to port authorities and operators.
Developing specialized surface treatments and additives. These finishes prevent biofouling from barnacles and algae without releasing toxic chemicals, keeping maintenance costs low in marine environments.
We support commercial buyers, distributors, and engineering contractors through the entire planning process. This includes design drawings, buoyancy calculation reviews, mooring design advice, and logistics coordination. Our modular systems meet international ISO, ASTM, and CE compliance standards, ensuring smooth local permitting and regulatory approvals.
