Can I purchase a Floating Dock system if there is no official distributor in my region?
Absolutely. If there is no active dealer in your area, you can buy directly from our factory in China. We regularly pack and ship LCL (Less than Container Load) or FCL (Full Container Load) sea freight directly to your nearest local logistics terminal or seaport. From there, you can easily arrange pickup or local flatbed delivery.
Can I leave the modular HDPE dock in the water during freezing winters?
Yes, our docks are designed to remain in the water year-round, including in ice. The tapered design of each individual block enables the entire platform to pop up safely on top of the ice as it freezes, preventing the dock from being crushed. Note that this applies to standing water or slow-moving currents. If there is heavy moving ice, it could damage the structure, so we recommend removing the dock before freeze-up in those conditions.
How many cubes wide must a floating platform be to ensure safe walking?
To maintain high stability and prevent tilting when people stand near the edge, we recommend a minimum width of three cubes (approx. 1.5 meters). Since each modular cube provides balanced buoyancy supporting roughly 90 kg (200 lbs) of weight, a three-cube-wide walkway provides excellent stability and easily supports multiple users simultaneously.
Will the modular system work in shallow or muddy water?
Yes. Our dock cubes only draw about 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches) of water when empty. During low tides, the system is designed to sit flat on the seabed or mud without issues. The main consideration is ensuring the entry point has sufficient depth so you can safely drive your Jet Ski or boat off the slipway.
