Absolutely. The dock can be left in the water year-round, including in freezing inland lakes and saltwater bays. The Floating Dock system is specifically designed to withstand being frozen directly into the ice. The unique slope design of the cube corners forces the dock to slide up and pop on top of the ice as it expands, protecting the modular structures from lateral pressure damage.
The main factor when it comes to ice and its affect on the system is water flow. If there is a heavy current or moving ice sheets, the key question to ask yourself is: "When the ice thaws, does it just melt back into the water level, or are there large blocks of heavy flow ice moving around that would damage stationary structures?" If the ice dissipates in place, you can leave our dock in the water all year. If there is moving pack ice, you should remove the dock to prevent mechanical damage from shifting ice sheets.

Yes, you can use the dock anywhere you can drive your crafts. The cubes only draw about 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of water when unloaded. The minimum functional water depth is measured at the back of the dock where the boat or jetski drives onto the structure. The system needs to be able to flex slightly to allow drive-on. The system can rest safely on the seabed during low tides, provided the ground is free of sharp rocks or debris that could puncture the HDPE surface.
