Can I get the Floating Dock system if there is no dealer in my area?

Yes. If you do not have a local dealer, we ship the floating dock components directly to your nearest freight terminal for pickup. Our logistical network handles packaging, loading, and transit tracking to keep delivery straightforward.

Can I leave my dock in the water during winter?

Absolutely. Our dock systems can remain in the water year-round, including in saltwater. The angled design of the modular cubes allows the platform to rise up on top of expanding ice sheets rather than being crushed, protecting the structural integrity of the pontoon.

How does moving ice affect the floating system?

The primary factor is water flow and ice movement. If the water freezes in place and melts gradually without heavy currents, the dock can remain in the water safely. However, if your location experiences heavy spring ice flows—where large, moving ice sheets can shear structures—the dock should be removed for the season to prevent damage.

How many cubes wide is needed for a stable walking platform?

For a stable walkway, gangway, or pier, we recommend a minimum width of three modular cubes. Each individual cube provides balanced buoyancy (supporting approximately 200 lbs or 90 kg), making a three-cube-wide platform stable and safe for foot traffic.

Will the system work in shallow water?

Yes. The modular cubes draw only 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of water when unloaded. The dock can rest safely on the seabed or riverbed during low tide, provided there are no sharp rocks. For drive-on boat docks, ensure there is enough depth at the stern for the boat to back off.
