Can I get the Floating Dock system if there is no dealer in my area?
Yes. In regions without a local distributor, we ship your modular system directly from our Taizhou factory to your nearest municipal sea freight port or freight terminal. Can I leave my dock in the water during winter?
Yes. The dock can remain in water year-round, including saltwater environments. The shape of the modular cubes is tapered, which encourages the structure to rise up on top of expanding ice sheets rather than being crushed by lateral force. This self-elevating design prevents damage to the dock during winter freezes.
How does moving ice affect the system?
The key issue in freezing conditions is water flow. If the ice melts in place or simply shifts with the tide, the system can remain in the water. Will the system work in shallow water?
Yes. The modular cubes draw only 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of water when unloaded. The dock can rest directly on soft mud or sandy bottom surfaces during low tides without taking damage. However, you must maintain sufficient water depth at the entry end to allow boats or jet skis to clear the mud when backing off the dock.
