Can I get Floating Dock system if there is no dealer in my area? +

Can I leave my dock in winter time? +
Absolutely. The dock can be left in all year, even in salt water. The Floating Dock system is designed to handle winter ice. The special design of the cubes allows the dock to pop up on top of the ice when pressure builds.
How does ice affect the system? +
The main issue with winter ice is water flow. If there is a heavy current or moving ice, consider: "When the ice thaws, does it just melt or are there large blocks of moving ice that would damage stationary docks?" If the ice simply melts in place, you can leave our dock in all year. If there is moving flow ice, you should remove the dock for the winter, as moving ice can damage any marine structure.
How many cubes wide for a stable walking platform? +
The cubes can be configured as a floating platform, gangway, finger pier, or any custom setup. For a stable walking platform, we recommend a width of at least three cubes. The dock is extremely stable and supports body weight easily due to the balanced buoyancy of each cube (approx. 200 lbs / 90 kg per cube).
Will the system work in shallow water? +
Yes, you can use the dock anywhere you can navigate your craft. The cubes only draw about 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) of water when unloaded. The minimum functional water depth is measured at the back of the dock where you drive on. The dock needs to be able to flex during entry. The system is fine resting on the bottom during low tides, provided there is enough water at the stern of the dock for the boat to back off.
