For safe and stable walking, we recommend a platform width of at least three cubes (approx. 1.5 meters). This width balances buoyancy and weight distribution, preventing tipping. Each standard cube provides about 90 kg (200 lbs) of balanced buoyancy.
Will the modular system work in shallow water?
Yes. Our docks can be used anywhere you can safely operate your watercraft. Without a craft, the cubes draw only 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches) of water. Ensure there is enough depth at the entry end of the dock so your watercraft's hull has clearance to back off during low tide.
