How does the Floating Dock system hold up in a typhoon? +

Real-world performance varies depending on anchoring methods, pile placement, and chain configuration, but our docks have repeatedly demonstrated excellent survival rates during severe typhoons.
Can I get a Floating Dock system if there is no dealer in my area? +
Yes. If we do not have a local dealer in your country or region, we can ship your modular floating components directly from our factory in China to your nearest sea port. We assist with ocean shipping paperwork and help coordinate final port delivery.
Can I leave my floating platform in the water during winter freezing? +
Absolutely. The high-density polyethylene is formulated to remain flexible at low temperatures. The sloped design of the cubes allows the platform to rise naturally on top of expanding ice, protecting the structure from being crushed.
How does moving ice affect the floating system? +
Static ice expansion is not a problem. However, if your location experiences heavy moving ice flows or strong currents during the spring melt, the ice blocks can damage any floating structure. In these high-risk areas, we recommend dismantling and storing the modular blocks during the winter, which is made easy by our quick-connect pin design.
How many cubes wide do I need for a stable walking platform? +
For safe use as a walkway, dock, or access pier, the platform should be at least three cubes wide. This width ensures adequate stability, preventing tipping and ensuring a firm walking surface under load.
Will the system work in shallow water conditions? +
Yes. The cubes require only 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of water draft when unloaded. If the water level drops completely, the platform can safely rest on sandy or muddy bottoms. The critical factor is ensuring enough water depth at the dock's edge to back off your watercraft.
